Education Activities

Founding Program Director, Plastic Surgery Residency

Designed and obtained ACGME approval for new plastic surgery residency program that was not in existence at the University of Colorado School of Medicine.    Developed all related course materials including curriculum and schedules with goals and objectives, procedure and policy manuals, oral examination materials, program, faculty and resident evaluation tools.  Responsible for organization of all lecture schedules, visiting professors, cadaver labs and compliance with ACGME.  Act as mentor to plastic surgery residents as well as medical students and general surgery residents applying to plastic surgery match.

Co-Director, University of Colorado Oncological Reconstruction and Microsurgery Course

• Facilitated multi-institution cadaver training course for residents in plastic surgery held at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus, Dec 1-2, 2017.
